Graduate Students / Adjuncts
Elizabeth Keri, who recently completed UC’s master’s program in Professional Writing and also working with Weebly as her ePortfolio platform, showcases her teaching as well as her editing, web-design, and document-design skills. Her writing covers a broad range: grant writing, journal editing, science writing, critical analysis, and creative writing.
Davin Hall, also a recent recipient of a master’s degree in Professional Writing, focuses his ePortfolio around his skills in mapping, design, and data visualizations. Constructed in Weebly, his ePortfolio is rounded out with other work, as well, such as photos, journal articles, and grant proposals.
Rebecca Hale — a recent graduate from the master’s program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in CECH as well as an ESL Instructor at the Center for ESL at UC and also at Cincinnati State — created a teaching portfolio as part of a graduate course on the scholarship of teaching & learning (SoTL).
Jessica Mills — now wrapping up a Master’s of Education in Literacy and Second Language Studies in CECH as well as certification in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (ESL/EFL) on the Adult/International track — created a course portfolio as part of this same graduate course on SoTL.
Rachel Nickens — a 2012 graduate of UC’s MA program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, now working towards a PhD in Sociology at UC Davis.
Nathan Tong — a PhD student in the Management Department in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business — created a course portfolio as part of this same graduate course on SoTL.
Heather May — an Adjunct Instructor in UC’s Mathematics Department in the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences, also an Academic Tutor in the Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science Department at UC Blue Ash, also a Masters student in UC’s Applied Mathematics program — has created a professional eportfolio also in Weebly.
