Terminology is still evolving: ePortfolios/e-portfolios/eportfolios/Eportfolios.
This site will use ePortfolios, which is the form that is getting used more and more by the Association for Authentic, Experiential & Evidence-Based Learning (AAEEBL).
But “eCobbling”? After some years of seeking an institution-wide tool for ePortfolios at the University of Cincinnati, my focus has shifted over into a more piecemeal approach: give people choices (and information about those choices), keep the cost down, focus on cobbling things together that work, keep things flexible and nimble. Like eCobblestones.
The purpose of this site, then: to gather together some materials — informational, instructional, reflective – on ePortfolios by way of facilitating their use (by me, by other instructors, and by students).
